The bark surface of the artificial wound was scrapped off to check for progress of oleoraisin formation. The pinkish brown formation is the early stage of fungi infection that will produce oleoraisin.

They will change from normadic to semi-normadic life and to permanent sedentry subsistance & sustainable agriculture. Collecting agarwood seedlings in the wild & planting cultivated agarwood in their native land reserve makes a more realistic aproach to the economic elimination of poverty. Cultivated agarwoods is becoming global bio-tech commercial industries. Our world wide communities are small but an intresting global village. -Leaves are gloomy green-greyish
A. rostrata:
-Secondary undersurface nerves are quite invisible
A. malaccansis:
-Large trees
-Leaves surface are oval shining & pointed.
